We are recruiting a Senior housing Management Services Officer to lead on prevention and intervention to help our residents sustain their tenancies. You will have a clear focus on intervening and resolving reports of ASB and Domestic Abuse, referrals/signposting will be made quickly and accurately,
Responsibility
Supporting residents, particularly vulnerable residents, to ensure tenants feel safe in their homes. Developing strong partnerships with internal and external agencies to assess and manage risk and employ various intervention and support measures to mitigate risk to residents and tenancies to secure positive outcomes.
Qualification – Essential
- GCSE Grade (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics.
- Hold a level 4 and level 5 Housing Qualification or prove that you are working towards these qualifications.
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Hold an IDVA Qualification
- Advanced – Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, social media, and CRM
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience Requirements - Criteria-to be Tested at Shortlisting.
- Ability and willingness to attend out of hours meetings and visits to meet the needs of residents and the service
- Ability to take timely and appropriate enforcement action in parallel with support interventions to meet the needs of vulnerable households.
- Demonstrable experience of successfully managing a complex Domestic Abuse and ASB case load to a successful conclusion.
- Experience supervising staff and monitoring the quantitative and qualitative aspects of casework.
- Experience of Risk Assessing victims of Domestic Abuse using the Save Lives Framework.
- Experience effectively managing a varied and complex caseload with various underlying vulnerabilities.
- Experience taking a range of formal enforcement action in response to tenancy breaches associated with unacceptable behaviour.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and good practice associated with responding appropriately to breaches of tenancy associated with ASB and Domestic Abuse
- Substantial knowledge of legal remedies and legislation related to anti-social behaviour and direct experience in court action against tenants who cause anti-social behaviour.
- Possess an established skill set that effectively responds to and manages challenging behaviours regularly.
- Practical knowledge of the role and purpose of proportionality and equality assessments is integral to successful casework management.
- Ability to work independently and recognise the value of doing the right thing at the right time and to a good standard.
- A well-developed and creative skillset secures engagement with groups that are more challenging to reach.
- Demonstrable understanding of appropriate professional relationships and boundaries as part of delivering the ASB Risk Management role.

- Full driving licence and use of a vehicle always.
- Enhanced DBS is required for this role.
