Description
We are recruiting a Business Support Officer for a client in North London. The Business Support Officer will be working in a vibrant Passenger Transport Services department who are responsible for transporting special educational needs service users to and from their educational settings
Responsibility
Work closely with a very dynamic team of staff who make a real, tangible difference in people’s lives whilst giving something back to the wider community. For this Business Support Officer/Data Processor role, the requirements will include (but are not limited to): Providing administrative support for organising, transferring, processing, and storing of data
Qualification – Essential
- GCSE Grade (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics.
- NVQ level qualification or equivalent experience
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Advanced – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), social media, CRM
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience Requirements - Criteria to be Evaluated at the Shortlisting Stage.
Successful candidates will be:
- Excellent typing skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good concentration being meticulous, accurate and providing work without errors
- Computer literacy with knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Experience in database management
- A diligent and responsible working attitude
- Previous experience in a similar role, completed administrative duties with an ability to showcase a strong skill set in IT and a strong knowledge of Microsoft packages
- The ability to be proactive within a reactive environment will be advantageous along with keeping calm under pressure.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- Able to work effectively with minimal supervision to meet challenging objectives and deadlines
- Work accurately to deadlines with attention to detail
- Aptitude to work effectively with a minimum of guidance
- Be an excellent planner, organiser, team builder, decision maker and motivator.
- Evidence of basic numeracy and literacy and/or relevant experience
- Good standard of general education including good, applied literacy and numeracy skills
